South Asian Games : India Tops The Table

India is leading the table with 32 golds, 14 silvers and 9 bronze medals is south asian games. Pakistan is second in medal tally with six golds,15 silver and eight bronze medals.

It is to be noted that a coach of India team had complained about lack of incentives by government for sport persons participating in south asian games.

Inspite of winning so many medals they are not given any monetary incentive and for media it is non event. Motivation is important for players to keep performing and do better in next levels like asia games , common wealth and Olympics.
