India Cannot Be No 1

India-Australia series is always well fought series since two years. It has all the drama , excitement and it perfect cricketing series.

This series was no different , where all the media hype was created and it did produce some outstanding and close matches. Be it be late fireworks in baroda or be it be sachin's master innings in hyderabad.

India lost series and with that its chance for becoming No1 also was postponed. But looking at last three series , does India deserve to be no 1?

India won tri series in srilanka but the performance was fairly inconsistent. If we look at final verdict , yes we won series but before winning series we lost with srilanka in league match and it was below par performance.

Champions trophy we lost with pakistan and were out without making to series.

In this series we came close to win 2 matches but lacked the final punch to win.

Lets look now to australian team. It was perhaps most challenging series for pointing. His vice captain injured , bracken , haddin too missing because of injury . Added to that their main experienced bowler , brett lee and his all rounder hopes going back because of injury.

Playing in India with best 11 has always been challenge for any team but playing with 11 out of which many were not your first choice and still wining is sheer champion attitude.

Before talking about becoming no1 we need to work on our attitudes and consistency , other wise as an expert said 'we can be no2 but never no1 if we remain unconsistent'
