Sachin Tendulkar : Krishna For Mumbai Indians

Sachin ramesh tendulkar has been part of Indian lives since 20 years now. There are lot of things written about him and his batting. Some call him god of cricket , some call him little master and some simply can't imagine Indian team without it.

Such is talent of this man that at age of 37 , he dominiates almost all format of the game. Sachin tendulkar is in form of his life and way he is batting in IPL , he is re writing t-20 rules. Having hit only a six in the tournament he is in top 2 run getters and best part of his performance is that mumbai Indian are on the roll.

Yesterday sachin became ill , possibly wheather took toll on him and he was retired ill. The in form mumbai shattered ,once sachin left and the all powerful team looked like bunch of college mates playing with professional team!!!!!

Sachin tendulkar is like krishna for mumbai Indian team. The basher saurabh tiwari , the destructive pollard , bravo , all in form and greatly skilled flattered once tendulkar was gone.

Never the less , this win of chennai was needed for ipl . Now 3 and 4th position becomes far more interesting.

If kkr wins today it would become much more interesting and highly competitive.

Anti Climax Of Hyped Series?

It was said to be battle of titans. No 1 Indian Team V/s No 2 South African team fighting for supremacy. But in 3 days it seems to be total anti climax and debate of whether India Deserves to be No1 has began once again.

In perfect pitch southafrican made most of modest Indian attack. Amla fired joining in form kallis to make huge total. India needed to play to its strength in batting but barring shewag and badrinath , Indian batsman failed to withstand the sheer pace of steyn who took 7 wickets. In last tour the same steyn during last tour had humilated India by bundling out India for 76 only.

The same steyn fired again and Indian batting looked ordinary against quality pace bowling. Today India missed services of dravid and laxman dearly.

In second innings India are placed at 66/2 and need a mircale to survive. They have example of laxman-dravid saga to draw inspiration but surviving two days with mere 8 wickets is tough thing to ask for.

Let see how tomorrow unfolds. Who knows there is another laxman-dravid story in making...

Positives of First Test V/s Bangladesh For India

No dhoni , no harbhajan and easy opposition. This was at beginning of first test match against bangladesh. Shewag roared partly with bat but more with mouth. Bangladesh did create panic in Indian ranks on day ,1. It needed master to play like only he can to see India scores aleast above 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!

India won the match and following are positives which India can take from the match :

1) Gautam Gambhir :

If dravid is wall , gambhir is Mr consistent. He has made 9 centuries overall and 5 centuries in last 5 matches. The biggest plus of his consistent form is that 4 centuries out of those 5 has been made in second innings.

2) V.V.S Laxman :

He is saviour of India since many years especially in second innings. He has made more fifities in second innings than first innings and he showed his class is still intact.

3) Ishant Sharma :

Bowler who was considered sensation soon lost his touch and was shown doors in one day. Made comeback in test and having taken 5 wickets in match , he is again in form. The spell in morning of final day was exceptional one.

4) Amit Mishra :

With harbhajan out , mishra was obvious choice. He didnt let down his captain and took 7 wickets in match. His bowl turned and flight given showed his confidence. With ojha and mishra , harbhajan does have to pull his shocks.

5) Sachin Tendulkar :

It neede master to deliver when all failed. Sachin ramesh tendulakar hit another ton and made sure that India had decent first innings score.

Cricketer Statements & Political Controversies

1) Sachin Tendulkar And Bal Thackeray

Tendulkar made an innocent statement. He as every other citizen of democratic India expressed his views. He simply said that 'he is proud of being maharatrian , but he is Indian first' , He also said that mumbai belongs to all Indians. What ever he said was perfectly logically , according to constitution and vision of founding fathers of India.

Little did he know that his this statement would fume , another marathi manoos , that is bal thackeray. Bal thackeray slammed tendulkar and advised him to mind his game.

This is not first time that any cricketer's statement has created political debate and controversy.

2) Sourav Ganguly and Mamta Banerjee :


Saurav Ganguly batted for TATA’s saying : “let us support the cause of TATA’s it will revolutionize the state and the future prospects of the state, youth in particular.” Industry is the future of West Bengal” he said “Nano is a new beginning for WB, it will revolutionize the prospects of the state” he said.

Mamata slammed Saurav for speaking out of turn without any knowledge of ground realities. “Does he know where Singur is situated,” she asked “Does he know how many farmers died for the cause of confiscated land in Singur or does he know the number of women raped in Kolkota.”


3) Azharuddin's Infamous Statement :

Azharuddin had all things going for him. Elegant batsman , one of most successful captains of all time and typical rage to riches story. But he entered , the no entry zone in cricket and this is match fixing. He was charged and banned.

In one of his interviews, he claimed that he was being targeted because he was from a minority community. However, this statement backfired badly and invited severe criticism from all parts of the country, including prominent minority community organisations in India. Ultimately, Azharuddin had to apologise publicly and retract his statements.



There are other controversial statements too like vinod kambli sach ka saamna episode , kapil- prabhabkar episode , manjerekar calling sachin selfish episode. But those statements were more personal than political.

Australians are like Indians when it comes to cricket. They just love it. But australians love all the sports unlike Indians , for whom cricket is equal to sports!!!!!!!

Meet New Tendulkar

Sachin tendulkar is icon who is consistently performing for 20 years. Today he reached another milestone by completing 17000 runs in one day cricket.

But before sachin made mark in international scenario , he announced his arrival at school level itself.

He had marathon partnership with vinod kambli of 664-run partnership. Now 12-year-old Sarfaraz Khan has emulated his idol smashing a record 439 runs in the same event.

Sarfaraz hit 12 sixes and 56 boundaries during his 421-ball innings for Springfield Rizvi School in a three-day match against Indian Education Society in the Harris Shield Inter-School tournament here Wednesday. Sarfaraz broke Sanjeev Jadhav's record of 422 run set in 1986 for Sharadashram Vidyamandir School.
